Limo Service at the Airport

When you have flown through several different time zones and have been squished in a cramped plane, on a cramped seat for six hours, you want the final trip to your hotel to be as stress free as humanly possible.

Its prudent of you to schedule a limo service to pick you up and drop you off. If you live in New York this is especially true. Getting from point A to B can be confusing and the roads wind down in different directions. New York is not a grid city and the streets do not make much sense unless you know them. You need a comfortable service as well as a driver who knows where he is going.

You do not have the time nor the energy at this point to worry about catching a cab, taking a bus, or riding the light rail to get top your hotel. Those are minor details that can and should be avoided after a taxing trip. If you are flying from LA to new York the total flight takes five to six hours depending on the tailwind. Its exhausting. Riding in a luxurious limousine is just what any person needs to wind down and get his thoughts in order.

If you are in town on a business trip it will be for several reasons. You are starting a deal, closing a deal, maintaining a deal, or it could just be for an important meeting. Either way you need to be well rested and focused for the next day. When you call a limo service the company arranges for the limo to be waiting for your right outside the airport. You get your bags from the baggage claim and there is a driver outside waiting to take your bags. Most likely he will already know your first and last name. You can ask him questions and suggestions and limo drivers usually give good ones. Companies only hire drivers with an extensive knowledge of the city and its points of interest.

You can sit back, have a drink, and look out at the beautiful city landscape. Its the only way to go and its not that expensive. Most limo companies charge between $60 and $80 an hour. Try paying for a taxi from the New York airport to a hotel in downtown. The fare will be $60 and depending on the traffic on I-5 or the 205 maybe more. Limo companies charge an hourly fee plus maybe a small service charge if they have to wait too long. But the prices are every reasonable and you will not have to sell a leg to afford one.

Think long and hard about getting a limousine service as an airport shuttle from the airport and your hotel. It is not only highly practical but just plain fun!
